I received the following email today. I assume it is a hoax. Does anyone
else have an opinion?

Dear Sir,
ATTN:CINDY HOFFMAN
RE:Late. Robert . Hoffman Jr.

It is my honour and pleasure to contact you at this
inauspicious moment bothering on the recent death of
our late managing Director,named above,who died
interstate on the 12th of october 2002 in a gastly
motor accident.

My name is Mr Hetty Inam,General Manager of the
company,TSL GAS & OIL Co. Ltd.,Lagos Nigeria.
An affable and affectionate gentleman of impeccable
qualities,the late MD served this establishment
well,although we never got to know much about his
family abroad. He lived absolutely alone,keeping
company in his residence with an alsatian dog named
"bufallo bull".

In strickest confidence however,we are compelled to
informed you that our late MD left behind the sum of
USD$7,600,000. PRIVATE FUNDS,lodged under our control
but in his favour at a local bank.
We are therefore,after a board resolution agreed to
remit these funds overseas in favour of his family or
members of his lineage,once a credible/favourable
response is received.
It might interest you to know that our commissioned
historical researcher where only able to track your
details as the only taceable (lineage/family) link or
near dessendant/relation of the late MD. If you are
his kindred or can represent the interest of his
lineage/family,kindly response to this email at your
earliest convenience,so that preliminary documentatary
arrangement can be set in motion to enable you take
custudy of these funds,which now legitimately belongs
to you and your family.No where else for us to make
enquiries regarding this.

from you soonest.
