On December 24, 1821, Dr. John Baltzell, age 47, married
Ruth Ridgley, of Baltimore, age 22. Dr. Baltzell's home on
East Church Street in Frederick, is now the home for The
Historical Society of Frederick County.

On December 24, 1963, two houses of East Fifth Street
in Frederick collapsed after a natural gas explosion. Two
were killed.

If anyone can add information to these History Moments,
