Hi,
Really appreciate any help in my search. Had Jacob Widener, Widner, Weidner born about 1803 in Washington Co., Md or York Co., Pa. in 1826 he married either Mary Ann Beard or Mary Ann Phillips in Hagerstown, Washington Co. Md. In 1834 they moved with sons Samuel, Phillip, & John, as well as daughter Elizabeth to Fairfield Co., Ohio. Both places he was a brick manufacturer. One time I saw where it was Beard that he married, but his oldest son passed down that his mother's maidenname was Phillips.
Widener, Widner, Weidner seems to be a difficult name in our research thru over 20 years. The list for Widener has hooked up many lines, but this is one still not connected before 1803.
If you find anything, it would be greatly appreciated.
