I have a few pages of the book, "Pioneers Of Old Monocacy", The Early
Settlement of Frederick County, Maryland,
1721 - 1743 by Tracy & Dern. Page 58 is a map. The title is "Key To
Settlement Maps In Chapters Which Follow".
It shows from North to South: Catholics; Upper German (Comment -
French/Swiss, Lutheren. Moravians);
Mid Monocacy; Lower Germans; Taskers Chance (I think Frederickstowne area);
Quakers, Sugar Loaf . The chapter on this area in Southern central
Frederick Co. begins on page 90 (which I do not have). There are other
original districts on this map to the east and west of Taskers Chance.
I recommend this work as it has the names and kin of many of the earliest
Frederick Co. area pioneers.
