I descend from a Henry O'Hara; he lived on a tract called O'Haras
Inheritance,
to the SW of Silver Run. He died in 1815 and is buried in the Catholic
Cemetery
at Taneytown. His son Daniel O'Hara [1761 - 1809] married Rachel Friddle.
This couple moved to Cambria County in PA. One of their children, David
O'Hara,
[1796 - 1864] maintained connections with the old Frederick Co. area and
married a Cath. Elizabeth Hemmler from just across the border in Adams Co.
PA.

I also descend from a Joshua Parrish [1770 - 1840]. He worked at the widow
Parr's mill, just across the border in PA, below Littlestown. He married
Barbara
Timble. Her family lived on a tract in old Frederick Co. called Dyers Mill
Forest,
also to the west of Silver Run. This couple also moved to Cambria Co. In
PA.

The Parrishes and O'Haras in Cambria Co. PA lived in the areas of Cresson,
Loretto, and Ebensburg. Some of their descendants still remain in that
area.
Joshua Parrish built a saw and grist mill between Cresson and Ebensburg
after
moving up from the MD area. His daughter Elizabeth married into the O'Hara
family, and the area became known as O'Haras Mills.
