Have you looked at the maps on MidMdRoots.com?
Look at the old Central/Eastern Hundreds. You can see how Monocacy Hundred
changed boundaries with the times. As more people moved in, more Hundreds
were created which changed the boundaries. Monocacy Hundred did include the
Middletown area until Kittocton Hundred was created. From what I read,
Kittocton boundary followed the mountain down to the Potomac River; however,
there is a break of the Catoctin range when you get to Shookstown, so I'm
not totally sure of the SE border.
