Subject: [MDFR] Coppersmiths in Frederick and Carroll Counties

Pat Dailey sent me the information below from the book(s) Names in Stone by Jacob Holdcraft. (Thanks again Pat.) The Simon and Elizabeth and highlighted below are definitely the family I was looking for. They are apparently buried in Johnsville in Frederick County. I suspect that the Jacob and Elizabeth highlighted below may be Simon's parents. They are apparently buried in McKinstrys Mill, which appears to be very close to the border between Frederick and Carroll counties.
I am looking for suggestions about finding more information (or of course more information itself). Now that I know the dates of death for Simon and Elizabeth, I might be able to find their death records, which might have parents names. What might be the best way to locate these? Although they are buried in Frederick County, they might have died in Carroll County.
