Have new information on William H. "Billy" Knox. According to his Death
Certificate, he was b. June 9, 1848, d. Feb. 12, 1917. Buried by
Winterberg and in the Maple Grove Cemetery. The "Informant" on the
Death Certificate was William Winterberg.

He m. (1) to Matilda Durst, 2nd wife, widow of Casper Durst. She was b.
Apr. 15, 1831, d. 1913, dau. of Jacob Durst and Nancy Wiland.

He m. (2) to Emma (Butler) Durst, 2nd wife, widow of Basil Durst, b.
1868, d. Oct. 29, 1942, dau. of Amos Butler and Hannah Durst.

William Knox and his 2nd wife Emma Durst lived on Amish Road in
Grantsville, in 1910.
