Dear Listers,

Thank you so much for all the replies on my question about the Durst's
having Indian Ancestors. I think if the story is true, it would be hard
to trace.

Since I'm the only one in my family (both sides, Green & Knox) that's
working on genealogy, I can't compare notes with anyone. I know there
has been a lot of research into the Durst family, and I'm sure if the
"Indian Relation" was true, it would be documented somewhere.

Thanks so much to everyone on the list who helped me with this. If I
come across anything supporting this possibility, I will post it to the
list. Although, it might take me until I'm 80 yrs old to find an
answer, be it true or false :-)
