Well, if nobody else has anything, I'll kick in an oldie. I'm looking
for
information on the Raleys (Railey?) who owned the resort by the Deep
Creek
Lake Bridge on the Oakland Rd. back in the 1930's(?). I believe it was
Mahlon and Edith. Edith was a daughter of David and Mollie Merrill from
Allegany County, and would be my great great aunt. I don't know if they
served pork bellies, but my mother has a picture of her own mother and
aunt
(Edith and Mahlon's nieces) as young women sitting by the lake with the
bridge in the background. Anyone out there know anything about them?
