Christopher WHITE the immigrant b 1642 d 1693 md 1674 Elizabeth Wyatt
LEATH of Yorkshire. md 2cd Esther BIDDLE/?BEETLE widow of John. gg/s of
Thomas WHITE of Cumrew,County Cumberland, England.
The above reference to a book "Your Family" by Emma Chambers WHITE. dtd 1941
published by Tuttle Publishing Co. Rutland , VT.
They are still there, but called Tuttle Antequiriam Books ?/
The line doesnt mention Henry, William and others..Christopher came from
England to New Jersey when about 24 years after the London fire, about Feb
after his first wife died. He was a carpenter and a Quaker. He purched of
John Fenwick 1000 acres on the south side of Monmouth River or Alloway's
Creek in Salem NJ
There is another line of WHITE's the immigrant to northern and central NJ
was named Thomas who came in the year 1670 from Deal, County Kent,
England purchased a tract of land now Asbury Park. No relation could be
found for this Thomas WHITE the immigrant.
