Does anyone know the name of the first husband (Bittner) or maiden name of Cordelia E. Bittner, widow?

Cordelia - b. October 7, 1836, d. October 29, 1936 married Gillian Cyrus Meese - b. 1837, d. January 1917.
They obtained the marriage license in Garrett County, MD but states they were married in Somerset County, PA.
At the time of the marriage Cordelia was 39 years of age and widowed. Gillian was 39 3/4 years of age and a widower.
They may have met near Johnstown (Hoyes) or the Accident area. Gillian was working as a miller at the mill of his brother Baltzer C. Meese.

Cordelia and Gillian are buried in the Crossroads Cemetery, Turkeyfoot Township, Somerset County, PA
