I am the happy owner of a new book, Forgotten Heroes of the Maryland Frontier: Christopher Gist, Evan Shelbey, Jr., and Thomas Cresap by Allan Powell, 3 Bittersweet Drive, Hagerstown, MD. 21740. A friend ordered copies for herself and for me for $33@.

It fleshes out the explorations of those three guys and clears up my border dispute questions between MD, PA, and VA. Best info I have found on Braddock's/National Road. Just wish it had more specifics on establishment of Selbysport. Ina, what do you have on those days?
