hi Lois, Beth, Connie and all who are wondering about Simon Opel and Melda
Georg etc. connected to the Knox's. Melda Georg is my mother and her parents
are Simon Opel and Elsie Beitzel. That was his second marriage. His first
marriage was to Cora Knox and they had 4 children before she passed away.
Bernard, Mary, Verna and James. Mary is the only one of them still living.
She resides in Bittinger. She was married to Russell Brenneman and then
married Al Frye after Russell's death. If that straightens everyone out now.
I haven't checked this for a few days or weeks so sorry I couldn't respond
to this faster.
