Apparently, it wasn't until the year 1879 that Bear Creek
Church of the Brethren began keeping records. Earlier
records are in the form of notes, etc., from persons such as
Jeremiah Beeghly.

Has anyone had to research records at Bear Creek? And, if
so, do they request a letter via mail, or do you have to
make an appointment with them? I can't find a street
address for them . . . only listed as Accident, MD 21520. I
was interested in sending a letter of inquiry for procedure
for research.
