Ralph,
Stone Tavern was torn down following a bitter legal battle between our
family
and the State Road Commission. Earle and Bud and Jerry Railey also owned
Stone Tavern. My parents' cottages were/are on that side of the road. I
worked at Stone Tavern the last summer it was open. I would like to know
where the old millstones are that were in front of the Tavern in case anyone
has a clue- also the old stone lions. Thanks. I have some good photos and
also recommend the Deep Creek Lake publication.
