I don't think the Cumberland Times will help you but all the old newspapers
are on film at the Ort Library at Frostburg State University. You can
request copies by writing to Mary Jo Price at
No charge but when you get the copies, be sure to send in a donation to her.
And that's easier said than done. I got my obit yesterday and the envelope
only has the address of "The Library - Frostburg, MD 21532-1099"
Probably good enough.
