If, while doing research on Robert P. Davis, you happen across information for this POLLY
DAVIS, shown on the marriage records just posted by Patti McDonald to the Allegany Co., MD
and Mineral Co., WV Mailing Lists, I would certainly like to hear about it.

July 3, Nicholas Friend to Polly Davis


My g, g, g, grandfather was Nicholas Friend m. Sarah Paugh, Oct. 5, 1824 (also posted on
Patti's list)

I have a court document, dated 26 Feb 1853, stating Nicholas Friend (deceased) and Sarah
Paugh (deceased). The document also verifies names of their children: Henry; Prudence;
John; Sarah.

So, if MY Nicholas Friend married 1824 and this document of 1853 makes no mention of
other marriages for either, I feel sure these marriage records are for two different
Nicholas Friend's.

If anyone has information for Nicholas Friend and Polly Davis, I would appreciate hearing
from you.
