Just came across some interesting information. I have found a George Knox,
b. Oct. 15, 1884, d. Aug. 27, 1960. His parents were John Knox and
Elizabeth Teets. George's wife was Ida M. McCollough, and they are buried
in Fairchance PA. Some of the surnames listed are very familiar to me via
Garrett County. Do any of these people ring a bell with anyone? . . .

George Knox, b. Oct. 15, 184, d. Aug. 27,1960
Wife:
Ida M. McCollough, b. Oct. 20, 1885, d. Oct. 22, 1965, dau. of Benjamin
Kelley and Arminta McCollough.
Sister:
Mary (Knox) McElroy
Sons:
Charles Knox, Jasper Knox, Joseph Knox, George Knox
Daughters:
Florence (Boyer)
Orpha (Barnhart) m. Clifford Barnhart
Annabelle (Livengood) m. Charles Livengood
Catherine (Weimer) m. Hobart Weimer

In the 1900 Garrett County Census, Friendsville/Selbysport, it shows a
George Knox, b. Oct. 1884 (MD) living with the family of Jasper and Annie
(Knox) Barnthouse, and working as a servant. Says both parents were born in
PA.

I feel the connection somewhere . . . just can't put my finger on it!
