Beverly,
I have already been in touch with Beverly Domer. My John Harden wasn't
related to Isaac Harden that I know of. I believe Isaac may have been of
German descent and John was English. John lived in the Eckhart area of
Allegany Co. and I believe on one of the census he lived next door to a
Samuel Harden. That is why I was thinking they could be either father and
son or brothers. I do know that Isaac Harden brought land from the heirs of
John Newmyer. I have been curious about the heirs of John Newmyer.
Somewhere in my mountain of papers I have a bill of sale that was sent to me
and it names the heirs and their husbands. I will do a thorough search for
it and get back to you.
