Nothing conclusive, but using the 1870 census info provided by Samuel Bowser
in a recent thread, it would seem likely. James had a son, John, who was 8
years old in the 1870 census.

Hi all,
Can any of you link John Michael Fresh (3/12/1862-11/1/1939) husband of
Margaret "Maggie" Hetrick (my g-aunt), 8/6/1867-3/11/1936 to the James Wm
Fresh's line?
It appears from information I have from his g-granddaughter Ruth Beckly,
that
John was a woodsman, farmer, carpenter and at one period a deputy sheriff.
Was also known for helping when sickness occurred. He seemed to have some
medical knowledge. He and Margaret are buried at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in
Berlin, PA.
