I've been working on finding information about my great great grandfather in
the Accident area of Maryland, but have not had a whole lot of luck.
Written to a church in Cove who will not (from what I have been told)
respond to any type of questions (especially to outsiders), and after five
months of waiting for the archives department to send me a death
certificate, they wrote to tell me that it MAY be available on-line in
October 2003. Does anyone have access to older Obituaries (1898 death year)
or newspapers from 1873 (birth year)? I know he is buried at St. Johns
English Lutheran Church next to an infant daughter and I am 99% sure he
lived in Garrett County - Accident area.

Thanks - Thom

Obituaries or Newspapers? (Since I hear the State Dept isn't fulfilling
requests anymore?)
