Services for Harry Blane Ravenscroft, 84, formerly of Front street, Westernport, who died last Wednesday in Cumberland, were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Boal Funeral Home by Rev. Sumner D. Sawyers, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church. Interment was in Philos Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Fred Warnick, Frank Ravenscroft, Charles Robinson, Eugene Robinson, Aubrey Robinson and Harry Simmons.
A native of Kearney, Nebraska, Mr. Ravenscroft was a son of the late Gibson A. and Cora (Ward) Ravenscroft. He was a member of Trinity Methodist church and a 50 year member of Philos Lodge 91. I.O.O.F. His wife, Mrs. Beulah (Grenzeback) Ravenscroft, preceded him in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Mable) Sult, Grovertown, Ind.; one brother, Arthur Ravenscroft, Westernport; one sister, Mrs. B. W. (Mary) Robinson, Cumberland; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
