Albert H. Macy, former teacher at Bruce and Valley High Schools, died Tuesday night at his home on Macy Drive, LaVale.
In 1925, he concluded his teaching career to enter the insurance business, and was president of the Macy Insurance Agency, Inc., Cumberland, at the time of his death.
His wife, the former Elizabeth Sommerville, spent considerable time here in her youth. Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, John S. Macy, St. Petersburg, Fla., and William H. and Allan D. Macy, both of Cumberland.
The funeral service will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Cumberland. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
