A daughter of David Beaver mentioned in these census records was
Clarissa. I have lots of info about her and her descendants. On
10/25/1877, Clarissa married Henry Bouse "Bouse" Warnick who was born
8/27/1852. Clarissa, who was known as Clarissy, kept a family Bible
which survives. In it, she spelled her given name Clarassa, and she
noted that she was born 5/19/1858. Both Bouse and Clarissy gave their
addresses as Chestnut Grove on their marriage record in Clarissy's
Bible. Clarissy died 5/6/1914. At the time of the 1920 census, Bouse
and his youngest son, Henry Leonard Warnick, lived with the family of
Bouse's son Luther Sherman Warnick in Garrett County. Bouse died
11/4/1926 in West Virginia.
