Walt;
I have been reading with some interest the ongoing info. concerning David Beaver> I'm not old enough to remember that David Beaver, however, I was born and grew up in Bloomington, Md. and two doors from that was a David Beaver who was possibly some relation to your David Beaver. He was married to Mary, and they had a son named Louis Beaver.
But I was especially interested in the paragraph talking about Estella "Stella" Evans Davis. Amos Davis was my great Uncle. his brother harter Davis was my grandfather. My mother was Margaret Davis ( Bush ) Grove. I did not know uncle Amos's sife but I new him very well and also his daughter Erma. He has a grandaughter Lois Schramm still living in Bloomington. A next door neighbor of mine, whose daughter and i were childhood friends and still are, was named (I've been told) after Estella Evans Davis. Her name was Stella Warnick Clark Knotts. By the1920 's my grandmother Hallie Evans Davis (married Harter), had died of the flu and my grandfather was living with Uncle Amos also. My Mother lived with the sister of Harter and Amos until Harter remarried. It is so very interesting how just one person can have such an effect on genealogy research.
As I said I grew up in Bloomington and everybody knew everyone in town. Things have changed now so that sometimes you don't even know the name of your next door neighbor.it was a great town and i had a wonderful childhood with all of my relatives. We didn't have TV in those days so you visited relatives winter and summer.
