Evelyn Catherine Friend - was born July 16, 1909 and passed away on Feb. 2, 1999 in Cumberland, MD. She was the daughter of Walter F. and Alice (Umbel) Humberson. Evelyn was married to Olin N. Friend - who passed away on Oct. 25, 1990. She is survived by a son - Walter Olin Friend of New Castle, Ind., three daughters - Theresa Hetrick of Grantsville, MD, Betty Lou Selby of Baltimore, MD, and Leota Stover of Mountain Lake Park, MD, one brother - Ralph Humberson of Friendsville, MD, four sisters - Gladys Frantz and Doris Friend of Friendsville, MD, Florence Livengood of Cuzzart, WV, and Arlene Sellers of Mentor, Ohio, 20 grandchildren, 41 g-grandchildren, and 17 g-g-granchildren. Burial was at the Blooming Rose Cemetery.
