Norman L. Friend - born Feb. 26, 1930 in Hazelton, WV and passed away on Feb. 13, 1998 in Jefferson, Ohio. He was the son of Herman and Grace (Chidester) Friend. Proceeded in death by 1 brother - Wade Friend. He was a truck driver for 13 years for Blair Cartage and previously owned and operated Friend Construction. Norman is survived by his wife - Joyce Ann (Williams) Friend (married on June 10, 1952), 1 daughter - Jennifer A. Abdel-Jalil of Amman, Jordan, a sister - Thelma R. Friend of Oakland, MD, and his twin sister - Norma G. Sparber of Clearwater, Florida. Burial was at the Blooming Rose Cemetery.
