I want to add my thanks to all of you on this list for your help with the
Bear creek burying ground. Unfortunately Jane and I ran out of time and were
not able to visit the site, I hope next time we can. I was looking for the
burial site of Elizabeth wife of Jonathan Frantz. We had a wonderful visit
to Garrett County and the FFA Library, Shirley opened the library just for
my visit and had books and files waiting for me and I spent the entire day
writing and copying new information, I even learned that Shirley was related
to my uncle Karol Rush. Thank you Shirley for all your help, I know the FFA
Library is in good hands. Jane and I got back home last Friday we flew into
West Palm Beach not knowing when we left New York if we would get home
because of "Charlie" but our area was not affected by the hurricane at all,
thank God. Please remember to pray for all those unfortunate people who were
hit. Many of them lost every thing they owned and a lot of lives were lost,
they don't even have a total count yet.Grandpatom in Florida

Hello all
Thanks for all the responses we received regarding the Bear Crk. Burial
Grounds. Mr. Lewis better known as Grandpa Tom, is researching George
Frantz & Rebecca Friend line. We have gotten quite a bit done on it.
Thanks again to all.
Don't forget Friendsville Days Sat. Aug 7 and our tour of Friendsville with
Mrs. Hicks as narrator.
