Thanks Shirley,

I'm assuming the nine months of operation was probably Feb-Oct. or Mar-Nov
(before and after the heavy snow fall). I couldn't imagine how they would manage
otherwise. I've seen Leo Beachy's photos of the snow on the Old Pike where
they even called in the National Guard to clear it on occasion. Sure makes you
appreciate the conveniences of today.
