Donald H. Fike, 69, of Uniontown, Pa., died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, in Harmon
House, Mount Pleasant, Pa.

He was born Aug. 3, 1935, in Uniontown, a son of the late William "Jack" Fike
and Madeline Jacobs Fike.

Also preceding him in death were his wife, Madeline Bryner Fike in 1978; a
brother, James Fike; and three sisters, Jacqueline Fike Haines, Ruth Ellen Fike
and Dolores Jean Fike.

Surviving are two sons, Eric Fike and his wife, Kristi of Connellsville, Pa.,
and Kenneth Fike and his wife, Lisa of Uniontown; two granddaughters, Ashley
and Jessica; and two brothers, John William Fike and his wife, Mildred Lazaran
Fike and Robert Lee Fike and his wife, Helen Gordon Fike, all of Uniontown.

Mr. Fike was employed throughout his life in the construction industry, was a
member of Laborers Union Local 1068, and the Hutchinson Sportsmen's Club.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount
Vernon Ave., Uniontown, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Monday
until 9:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., in the Chalk Hill United
Methodist Church, with the Rev. Terry Collins officiating. Interment will
follow in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Chalk Hill, Pa. In lieu of flowers, the
family requests memorial donations be made to the Christ Lutheran Cemetery, c/o Mr.
Bob Jackson, 19 Jackson Dr., Farmington, PA 15437.
