Does anyone know anything about Moses Matheney/ Mathena who appears on the
1860 and 1870 census for Allegany CO. MD. In 1860 he is living with Sarah b.
1819 and Jackson b. 1851. They are living close to Silas and Ashford Warnick. In
1870 Moses is with Hannah. I am trying to figure out if this is the same
Moses Matheny of Marion CO. (W)VA who may be the father of James Hugh Parrish,
son-in-law of Silas Warnick. James Parrish was born in Mannington Marion Co. WVA
and his mother was Hannah Havens. According to family lore his blood father
was named Matheny. Trying to make some connections
