I live in Upshur Co. Although I do not personally have a relative or close
friend working in any mines, I know many people who do. God and I have had a
running dialog for two days, mostly me begging.

The Salvation Army is providing food and a place to shower and rest, located
at the National Guard building in Buckhannon for the people doing the work,
that is the rescue units, the fireman, the 9-1-1 people, the police, etc.
The families of the miners are staying at the Sago Baptist Church. At least
that is the info that I have.

Sago is about 10 miles from Buckhannon, maybe less.

Local individuals as well as businesses are sending in food to both places.

As you can see from TV, there are a lot of folks in Upshur Co. who believe
in God. Count me as one. Some of us even wished our friends "Merry
Christmas". That is a joke of sorts as I heard certain establishments had told their
employees that the could not say that.

Please keep all of those miners and their families in your prayers.

Eva
