Hello fellow researchers,

I'm helping a very distant relative who is trying to find out more about Catherine (Friend) and Hezekiah Frazee. He does not have email and I promised to copy and send to him any information that I received.
He has supplied me with the following information:

Catherine was born Apr 9, 1767 d Feb 7, 1842. She married Hezekiah Frazee b abt 1758 d June 6,1821. and I think the marriage was 1782/83 in VA probably Preston Co., WV today. They were buried in the Old Lincoln Furnace Graveyard in Jackson Co., Ohio. He has their 10 children (maybe an 11th or the last child may be a nephew or grandson).

In 1786, in Monongalia Co., VA (Preston Co., WV today) he acquired 441 acres on the Cheat River opposite the mouth of Salt Lick Creek. He continued to appear on the personel property tax rolls in Monongalia Co. Va - except as noted in: 1790, 1791 (Bourbon Co. KY), 1792, 1793, 1794, 1795 (Addison Twnship, Gallia Co., OH), 1796. In On May 31, 1800 he purchased a tract of land called Yarmouth - 304 acres five miles from Turkey Foot, in Whartown Twp, Fayette Co. Pa (Uniontown.) This information was gathered by Harry and Thelma Frazee - both deceased.

1. Was Catherine the daughter of Augustine and Hanna (unknown) Friend? or Jacob and Elizabeth (Skidmore) Friend? Where did her family live?

2. Does anyone have documentation that would prove they were married in VA? Where? Actual date?

3. Does anyone have any information of Hezekiah Frazee's parents? The name of Hezekiah may be
