Genie,
I think a cookbook would be loads of fun. There was already a Hetrick
Cookbook--recipes from mostly the Martin/Jonas Hetrick line of MD/PA (my
g-grandfather's younger brother's family). I have some of my Mother's recipes (WV) I
could contribute--I've tweeked some of them a little to make them a little
healthier though. ;o) Mom made fried pies. I've never tried it myself but have
been tempted.
Nice of you to volunteer to do this--it can be quite a project.

regarding the family or person from whom the recipe originated. This would to some
extent preserve family history along with some really great recipes!
Please let me know your thoughts and/or start sending in those recipes!
