Howdy list,

While doing a Google search I ran into a very interesting mining report for
the year 1924. Besides interesting facts about the mines and wages etc. it
lists all the accidents for both Allegany and Garrett County mines. The
lists are very detailed giving not only names but ages nationalities and
family information. There are also detailed descriptions of what occurred
to cause the accidents in some cases. It's on a PDF file and you can save a
copy to your computer if you'd like to use it for reference at a later date
as it is a long report. But if you want to just scan over it for a quick
name look-up you can do this; look at the upper top left hand side of the
page for a pair of "binoculars" just click on that icon and a search box
will open where you can enter a search option such as a name. It will tell
you what pages that information can be found on. Good luck.
