At the request of Alpheus Frey this deed was recorded Sept. 8, 1884 at 1 oclock P. M.

This deed, made the 18th day of July in the year A. D. 1884 by Matthias Frey and Mary Frey, his wife, of Preston County State of West Virginia and Kimel Frey and Nancy G. Frey, his wife, and Rachel Friend and John Friend, her husband, and Julianne V. Sickle of Garrett County, State of Maryland, Witnesseth; that in consideration of two hundred dollars the said Mathias Frey and Mary Frey, his wife, and Kimel Frey & Nancy Frey and Rachel Friend and John W. Friend and Julianne V. Sickle, do grant unto Alpheus Frey of Garrett County, State of Maryland all their interest in and to Military Lot No. (2847) twenty eight hundred and forty seven situate west of Fort Cumberland and no in Garrett County & State of Maryland and adjoining lands of Jefferson Frazee, Noah Humberson, Jacob Nicola & others and known as the Solomon Frey farm in fee simple.
