Update to the DAR, "Maryland's Garrett County Graves", (Parsons, WV:
McClain Printing Co., 1987) is "Maryland's Garrett County Graves Volume
II". Same publisher, published in 2004, also the work of the Youghiogheny
Glades Chapter of the NSDAR.
Check with the Garrett County Historical Society, P O Box 28, Oakland, MD
21550 or call them 301-334-3226

Yes, there are excellent cemetery transcriptions available for Garrett
County.
DAR, "Maryland's Garrett County Graves", (Parsons, WV: McClain Printing
Co., 1987).
There is another update, but search on the Garrett County Historical
Society, and you should be able to find information on how/where to purchase
it.

Hello everyone in Garret County,
I read your blogs with interest each day. I live in Arizona but my roots
are in Pennsylvania and (perhaps) Garret. I would love to know if some
wonderful volunteer has written gravestone information for each cemetery in
Garret County that could be purchased by out-of-towners?
Thank you everyone.
