I think A. F. George was a Justice of the Peace in Swanton, Garrett Co.,
Maryland. Does anyone know this family line?

Arthur, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theophilus
George, who was so badly injured in Jackson mine last Tuesday by a fall of
top coal, died Saturday afternoon. Pneumonia developed on Friday and
hastened his death. Arthur was aged 22 years and 9 days, a model young man
beloved by all. He was a member of Star Council No. 37, Jr. O.U.A.M., which
had charge of the funeral, attending to the body. Services were held at his
residence Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. J. W. Fleming officiating.
Interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Besides his father and mother there are
four sisters and two brothers left to mourn their loss. The bereaved family
have the sympathy of this community. - Lonaconing Star

The deceased was a grandson of Rev. W. E.
George, of Deer Park, and a nephew of Hon. A. F. George, of Swanton.
