Hi all,

This has been a brick wall for me.

Mary Elizabeth (Betsy) Pruitt, b abt 1824, mar Elijah Brittingham 1848,
they had five children. I cannot locate her in any census til 1850, with
husband Elijah and children. She had a sister Phyma, also called Fannie
( never married) who was living with her and Elijah in 1850 and 1860.

I had at first, thought she was a dau of Elijah Pruitt, there is an
Elizabeth born abt the same time, but no Phyma listed as a dau among his
children. A cousin said in talking to his gramma Daisy, that she said,
he thought, that Mary's mother was a Taylor.
Any help on this would be very appreciated.

I have checked the Pruitt line, but have found nothing for this Mary
E., she married in Worcester Co, and died in Worcester Co. I have her
picture, but no lineage to put her with.
