Roll Call for the Hoxter Family in Queen Anne's County, Princess Anne County,
Kent County and any counties near or around. the Family Name is Hoxter, ROY
HOXTER married Hannah Corina Ross, in the late 1800's. They had eleven
children that lived: JOHN married Viola. ZORABEL married Raymond Evans,
WATSON married 1.Eliza and 2. Helen Grenich, Eliza had a daughter by Watson,
Geraldine. EMMA married George Gray, ALVIN and ALTA (twins),ALTA married
Kenneth Emory, and later Norman McCall, WILLIAM MELVIN and MILDRED (twins)
William Melvin married Mozella Faulk, MILDRED married Marshall Henry, ELMIRA
married Frank Jones, ANNA married Paul Brown and later Walter Green, whom she
has a son by. JOSEPH HAYWARD married Callie Mae Williams. They attended
Lockerman High School, with the exception of Mildred because of her health
never attended school.
Other family and neighbors were Browns, Blacks, Hutchins, Henry's, Dixon's,
Dickerson's, Daniels, Ross, one of Roy Hoxter's brother's name was CHARLES,
it was told to me recently that he was one of 21 children. We have not been
able to prove or disprove it. Anyone out there knowing anything about any
Hoxter's please contact Frances Hoxter Jones at .,
including other spellings of Huxter, Hester, Hockster, Hockstetter, Hunter,
