There was a family of Orems in Talbot Co., MD before 1731: John who died
before that year as his widow, Ellinor Orem Rigbey (who remarried after his
death) made her will and died about 1732. Their children were: Morrus who
married Alice and died abt. 1765 (Alice died c. 1775); John; Andrew who
married Rachel and made his will in 1774; Thomas who had a daughter named
Elinor); Hugh; Mary; Susannah, and Elizabeth; plus Arthur Rigbey probably
from the second marriage. The land tracts mentioned were: Foxhole;
Waterford; Fox Harbor; and Fox Den.

A John Morris Orem left his estate to a nephew, John Colston in 1776.

If you can wills later than 1776, you may be able to connect to this family.
