Hi all,

I'm a bit behind on my digests, but I also wanted to suggest you check with the National Archives, Mid-Atlantic Region in Philadelphia. They have records of naturalizations performed in the Federal courts in Maryland. Before 1906 they won't tell you much but it can't hurt to look.

You can email your request to Tell them the name of the person, country of origin, and approximately when he immigrated or was naturalized. There is no charge for the search but there is a fee for copies.
