A good place to start would be with Francis Hardesty b. Feb. 27, 1606/1607
Anne Arundel Co., Md. S/o of Francis Hardesty b. March 10, 1670/71 Hampowaite,
Yorkshire, England and Ruth Morely. They had at least seven children. Francis
Hardesty [b.1606/07] married Alice Brown b. December 2, 1718 Prince Georges
Co., Maryland. I do not have any sources that states a town was named after
