Hi

I am researching the family of Hamilton B Warren. He was born in Delaware in
1818 and married Rebecca E Middleton of Kent County Maryland in December of
1839. In the 1870 census his son William Warren is head of house and
Hamilton is listed as 'Insane'.

Would there have been some 'official' decree or court proceding for this? By
1880 his widow is living with one of their married daughters, and William
has moved to Illinois. How do I search for a death record for Hamilton?

Sorry for all the questions, but this is my first search in the state of
Maryland.
