Does anyone have access to MARYLAND MARRIAGES 1634-1777? Email to the lookup
volunteer could not be delivered.

If so, we would appreciate a lookup for this marriage:

Samuel Dyer, b. January 2, 1751, Frederick Co, MD
married on October 19, 1779, Montgomery Co, MD, to
Elizabeth Griffith, b. October 19, 1759

One online resource [without documentation] says they were married at Captain
John (Cabin John) Presbyterian Church. Does anyone know if there are records
for this old church or where it was?

We are actually looking for one last proof to complete an SAR supplemental
application using George W. Griffith, Sr. as the patriot. We need to show
that Elizabeth was the daughter of George, who was born ca. 1738, in the part
of either Baltimore Co. or Prince George's Co. that later became Montgomery
Co., MD. Elizabeth's mother's name was Mary.
