I would like to correct a previous statement I made and then ask a question.

I said:

> both born in the part of either Baltimore Co or Prince George's Co that are
> now in Montgomery Co.

I should have said they were born in either Baltimore Co, or in the part of
Prince George's County that became Frederick County in 1748, then Montgomery
County in 1776.

I don't know that area, but it seems possible that the land tract of someone
living in Prince George's County prior to 1748 could then be located in
Frederick County when it was formed out of Prince George's. What I would like
to know is when Montgomery County was formed from Frederick in 1776, it is
possible that that same land tract that started out in Prince George's would
then be in Montgomery?

I'm still trying to sort out all the Griffith info everyone sent me.

Thanks,
