I have the following marriages in Somerset:

George G. Arvey to Mary Jane Brinkley 24 Dec 1841
Napoleon Arvey to Elizabeth Taylor 17 Jun 1834
William Arvey to Unice Hopkins 5 Mar 1835
William Arvey to Margaret Anderson 4 Oct 1837

I cannot find him on any census as an unmarried person, but perhaps this may help
