Surname: Bailey, Shirkliff

I am trying to find information on my 2x great grandfather, William Bailey
(born 1840) or his father, my 3x great grandfather, Noah, of St. Mary's
County, who was married to Ann Shirkliff. William had siblings: Ann Rebecca,
James, Charles, and Shercliffe Bailey. William was one of 25 people who
earned a certificate to teach public school in 1866 in St. Mary's County,
MD & Sheriff in 1899. Any information on this side would be a great help!!!
Would love to find other Bailey's or other descendants that we might possibly
be related....
