Linda and other St. Mary's researchers,

Amoung the items I have accumulated during my 2 or 3 years of family
research is a will for John Daffin of St. Mary's Co., dated 1751. I have not
been able to connect this John Daffin to other Daffins in St. Mary's Co., but
have tried to find what relation or connection he may have with the witnesses
listed on his will. In particular, there is a JAMES MACLALAND and a DRADEN
MACHANLAND. Could this be the same surname spelled differently? Would either
of these two be related to the MACLELLENDS (Ann and John) mentioned
previously?
The other witnesses were THOMAS PERRIN and MAZOLEN(?) FURGOE.
